Citizen Lobby Workshop
When
Wednesday, January 07, 2015
5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Location
The Historic Y, 738 N. 5th Ave, Tucson, AZ
Are you ready to make a difference? Are you interested in helping to protect Arizona’s air, land, water, and wildlife? Please join us for this fun and informative workshop.
Arizona needs more advocates
who are willing to meet with legislators, city council people, county supervisors, and other officials who have enormous impact on our future and on what kind of legacy we leave for future generations.
The workshop runs two hours and covers the basics on the Arizona Legislature, how a bill becomes a law, how a bill really becomes a law, and Dos and Don'ts of Citizen Lobbying, plus an opportunity to role-play a lobby visit.
We will also have food and drinks as we know this is during dinner time for many. Please let us know if you have specific dietary needs. You can find out more or RSVP by calling (602) 253-8633 or emailing
