CAZCA Partners, Colleagues, and Friends,

We would love to extend an invitation to a special CAZCA event as a thank you for your partnership and for your commitment to caring and advocating for our region's open space.

The Conservation Alliance, Desert Botanical Garden, and the Arizona Native Plant Society, Phoenix Chapter, will be hosting an evening reading of The Sonoran Desert: A Literary Field Guide with one of the authors, Christopher Cokinos on March 22nd, 2018 at 6:30pm. The book grew out of the Poetic Inventory of Saguaro National Park that was held in conjunction to the 2011 BioBlitz at the park-- it is absolutely inspired. It was named a Southwest Book of the Year in 2016 and was given the New Mexico-Arizona Book Award for Best Anthology in 2016.

There is no charge for the event-- just a low-key way to relax, network, and catch up with colleagues. http://bit.ly/desertreading

We have 100 slots, so space is extremely limited. The author, Christopher, will be signing copies of the book, which we will have on sale at the Garden gift shop. Please RSVP to
