Arid Lands Symposium: Integrating Research into Action

  • Friday, May 04, 2018
  • Saturday, May 05, 2018

Join us for this exciting and educational two-day event that brings together researchers, land managers, students, community leaders, and stakeholders to share practical implications from regional natural resource research and novel ideas for implementing monitoring, research, and management programs.

We would like to invite the Alliance partners and colleagues to register and attend this great event! As part of the Arid Lands Symposium, the CAZCA Restoration Lab @ McDowell Sonoran Conservancy (what used to be CAZCA Learning Communities), will offer our partners a wonderful opportunity to learn more about arid lands restoration and other topics that can enhance collaboration for regional conservation. These talks aimed at restoration (highlighted below) make up the first CAZCA Restoration Lab @ McDowell Sonoran Conservancy of the year.

We wanted to remind everyone - early bird registration for the Symposium ends today! Register to attend this exciting and educational 2-day event, that will help us network, learn, and ultimately improve. The ticket includes a Twilight Tour Cocktail Party at the Desert Botanical Garden too! The Alliance will also be offering future CAZCA Labs on wildlife connectivity, invasive species management, and more on restoration in the future. Be on the lookout for those!
