APRA Board Member and Committee Volunteers Recruitment Period

Each year the Arizona Parks and Recreation Board of Directors submits new officers for fall elections and appoints committee chairs. We have the following openings available:

• President (3 year term): VP, Incoming and President  2019 / 2020 / 2021
• Regional Representatives: North / South / West (2 year terms)
• Committees Chairs: These positions are appointed by the incoming President Membership / Program / Marketing (1 year with an option for additional)
• Treasurer and Secretary (1 year) Serve on the Executive Board 
• Social Director & FUN COMMITTEE - to work under the Program Committee to help program social and member networking activities.
• Mentors to help work with the ASU Student Association coordinating the annual SPARKS student conference.
• Editor in Chief - helps manage the production of the quarterly magazine.
• In addition, each committee needs members to serve in supporting roles.

The APRA Board of Directors will be reviewing the Slate of Candidates at the  meeting following conference, elections will be held in the fall and the term would begin January 1, 2018.
