Youth and Teen Program Managers Round Table

As managers of youth and teen programs, we face various types of challenges. Each program is unique; it is vital that we communicate how we best resolve tough issues, plan for the future, and ensure our community that we offer safe, reliable, and fun services for their children. We will be addressing after-school program ideas/ ways to keep children of various ages engaged in activities, summer camp ideas, field trip ideas, behavior management policies & procedures, staff training practices, staff recruitment strategies, etc.

Program Description and Timeline As a round-table program. Various questions will be posed to the group and moderated by City of Scottsdale employee Geoffrey Gerstel. A multitude of questions are prepared in order to ensure that time is adequately used.

In addition to the round-table, the Apache Junction Multi-Generational Center will give a tour of their location so that professionals have the opportunity to learn about their offerings.

Lunch will be included and event has been approved for .4 CEU's
