The SPARC Conference (formerly SPARKS) is a one-day student planned professional development event in partnership with the ASU Sports, Parks and Recreation Club (SPARC), and the Arizona Parks and Recreation Association (APRA).
The SPARC experience provides a unique platform for college students, high school students, young professionals and seasoned experts to collaborate on industry specific content and serves to “spark” interest, ideas, and connections between students and professionals in the field.
SPARC 2020 is proudly expanding the inclusion of area high school student invitations. At the event, each high school student will be paired with a college student, who will then be paired with a professional attendee, for a day of team building activities, education speed-sessions, case study challenges and mentoring.
Each education speed-session, taught by experts in various fields, will center around three case study topics. The learning will then be directly applied in blended teams to solve current issues facing a metro-phoenix community. Did we mention prizes for the winning team(s)?
