Event Description

Fentanyl is one of the most pervasive and destructive illegal drugs to hit our parks in years.  Whether you work in an urban city or small-town community, fentanyl’s impact will wreak havoc on your system of parks and amenities.

Learn from professionals on the front lines of this epidemic in the fields of Police, Park Rangers, Drug Enforcement Administration, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, and Higher Education.

Event attendees are encouraged to submit questions in advance of the event.

Cost:       Free for both in-person and virtual 

Seating is limited for both; registrations cannot be switched

Agenda:             

  • 9:00 am      Doors Open
  • 10:00 am    Welcome and Introductions by the Moderators (10 minutes)
  • 10:10 – 10:30 am     Fentanyl overview (20 minutes)
  • 10:30 – 11:45 am      Panel discussion and audience questions and discussion (1 hour, 15 minutes)
  • 11:45 am-12:00 pm         Closing statements, event ends

Approved for .2 CEUs - additional fee
