Session presented in continued partnership with the Florida Recreation and Park Association
Dr. Deb Jordan, Department of Recreation Sciences, East Carolina University
Do you know why you do evaluations? Do you do share and respond to the results? What are the expectations (both unspoken and apparent) do you have related to evaluation-based actions? In this session we’ll talk about the whys, hows, whats, and what-to-do-withs of evaluations – related to personnel as well as programs. Providing background information and structure, sharing current practices, and asking and responding to questions will all be part of this session.

She has presented at the local, state, and national levels on a variety of evaluation-related topics. Her most recent educational conference-based sessions on evaluation have been at the North Carolina Recreation and Park Association Annual Conference (2022), the Diabetes Education and Camping Association National Conference (2022), the American Camp Association National Conference (2022), and American Camp Association Southeastern Region Fall Conference (2022).
