Molly Keays – Director of Parks & Recreation, Town of South Windsor, CT
An NRPA 30 Under 30 recipient and 2024 American Academy of Park and Recreation Administration Extern, Molly Keays is a trailblazer in the field. As Director of Parks & Recreation for the Town of South Windsor, CT, she oversees 875 acres of parks, 16 miles of trails, and over 200 programs annually while leading a team of 22 full-time staff. Since assuming her role in 2021, Molly has secured $3.5 million in grant funding, expanded programs, and streamlined equitable financial assistance initiatives. She is also a nationally recognized advocate for young professionals, serving as Chair of the NRPA Young Professional Network and Co-Chair of the Connecticut State Association’s Young Professional Network.
