Lately, many organizations are setting “Zero Waste” goals in their programs and events in which they implement. Alana Levine, at ASU, has been very successful in this venture and has agreed to share her wealth of knowledge and best practices in this environmentally friendly 3 hour work session.
This in-depth workshop will provide you the tools necessary to assess current programs, set appropriate goals and benchmark progress. Attendees will be given information and best practices to plan, pilot, implement and benchmark Zero Waste Programs and Events. You will leave with information on how to market and communicate Zero Waste efforts in your respective agencies and give you a variety of programs that work! Don’t want to miss this!
Alana Levine has over 18 years of experience in environmental activism and recycling. She has run recycling and solid waste programs for The University of Arizona, MIT in Cambridge, and now for ASU.
