We invite you to join us for another round of engaging and informative talks in the Conservation Alliance Speaker Series.

We will welcome Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department's:
RJ Cardin, Director
Jennifer Waller, Operations Manager, and
Leigh Johnson, Park Planner
for a compelling talk on their experience in adaptively applying two key land management frameworks-- the Recreation Opportunity Spectrum (ROS) and Limits of Acceptable Change (LAC)-- in one of the nation's largest regional parks systems.

The aim of the speaker series is to share expertise, and connect land managers, scientists, educators, community members, and conservation professionals around a common goal for ecological and recreational sustainability of the Valley's mountain park preserve system. These brown bag lunch-style presentations will occur at variety of locations across the Valley accessible to Conservation Alliance partners and the community. Typically, a given session will have two presenters, each giving a primer of his/her topic with supporting documentation to be made available afterward to those who desire more information.
