Conservation Speakers Alliance Series

  • Thursday, February 13, 2014
  • 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
  • Arizona State University, Wrigley Hall, Room 481

We invite you to join us for another round of engaging and informative talks in the Conservation Alliance Speaker Series!

Next week, we will welcome Nancy Grimm, Professor of Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Science and Co-Director of Central Arizona-Phoenix Long-Term Ecological Research (CAP LTER) will discuss the impacts of climate change in the Southwest.

The aim of the speaker series is to share expertise, and connect land managers, scientists, educators, community members, and conservation professionals around a common goal for ecological and recreational sustainability of the Valley's mountain park preserve system. Typically, a given session will have two presenters, each giving a primer of his/her topic with supporting documentation to be made available afterward to those who desire more information.

A light lunch will be provided courtesy of the alliance partner- CAP LTER. Please RSVP to: sbeute@dbg.org
