Susanne Rothwell, Past President Phoenix Moutnain Preservation Council will speak on "Parks, Preserves, and the Political Process" -AND- Chris Ewell, Project Manager on "Echo Canyon: the public interaction process and closing of one of the City's most popular trails."

The aim of the speaker series is to share expertise, and connect land managers, scientists, educators, community members, and conservation professionals around a common goal for ecological and recreational sustainability of the Valley's mountain park preserve system. Typically, a given session will have two presenters, each giving a primer of his/her topic with supporting documentation to be made available afterward to those who desire more information.

A light lunch will be provided courtesy of the alliance partner- CAP LTER. Please RSVP to: sbeute@dbg.org
