MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR!
With over 40 years of experience in the aquatics field, Lori Thompson has had the opportunity to be involved in many aspects of the industry. She is an experienced trainer and teacher overseeing the training of aquatic staff for many years.
Ms. Thompson holds her Bachelors and Masters in Organizational Leadership from Biola University. She is an AFO instructor and has worked as an instructor trainer with the American Red Cross, Ellis and Associates, and Australian Swim School. She is also a licensed pool technician and holds CPO and Aquatech certification. She is a certified Aquatics Professional and has received several awards including the Paragon Award from the International Swimming Hall of Fame. She is a past board member with the Association of Aquatic Professionals and is on faculty with Starguard and Starfish Aquatics. She is an author and speaker on a number of aquatic topics.
