In 1998, a group of college students pioneered a fundraising event to benefit St. Jude Children’s Re- search Hospital. Evoking the help of faculty, staff and other students on the campus and in their com- munity, these students led the charge in raising awareness and money for the hospital. The year cul- minated with a celebration in which the students stayed “up ‘til dawn” and then, at the end of the event, the students revealed their fundraising total.

Since that year, students from more than 235 schools have joined in the fight against catastrophic childhood diseases by hosting Up ‘til Dawn on their campuses and have raised more than $32 million for the patients of St. Jude. Committed young people across the country are quickly making Up ‘til Dawn the premier philanthropic project for college students.

Arizona State University is proud to be a part of Up ‘til Dawn. This year, more than 500 Arizona State University students are expected to participate in Up ‘til Dawn and the school’s goal is to raise $25,000 to further benefit the life-saving work of St. Jude. Our theme this year is “you don’t have to have super powers to be a hero”.

The Arizona State University Up ‘til Dawn student Executive Board would like to invite you to partici- pate in our exciting Conquer Cancer on Piestewa Peak fundraising event benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. St. Jude shares its research findings freely and families without insurance are never asked to pay.

Note: Up ‘til Dawn event and Conquer Cancer on Piestewa Peak are two different events at different times. Both benefitting St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
